3 Useful Keyboard Shortcuts

Three useful keyboard shortcuts you may not have known before you read this post.

1. Screen lock

To lock your laptop screen when you are not using it, simultaneously hold down the “Window + L” for a Windows PC or “Control + Command + Q.” for a Mac.

2. Screenshot

To take a screenshot on a Windows PC hold down “Window + Shift + S” to open the Snip & Sketch tool. Likewise for a Mac, hold down “Command + shift + 4” and select the area of the screen you want to capture; the screenshot is copied to your clipboard for immediate use.

3. Switch between applications

To quickly switch between open applications, hold down the “Alt + Tab” for a Windows PC or “Command + Tab” for a Mac.
