Increase your efficiency when browsing the web

We all know a few keyboard shortcuts, but this month we thought we’d share a few web browsing tips to help shave valuable seconds off your browsing time and increase your workflow productivity.

1. Cycle through open tabs

Pressing “Ctrl” + “Tab” while in a browser will cycle between each tab (Pressing “Shift”+ “Ctrl” + “Tab” will cycle through tabs in the other direction). This can be much faster than moving the mouse and clicking on a tab.

2.  Bring back a closed tab

Accidentally close a tab? Simply press “Ctrl” + “Shift” +” T” to reopen the most recently closed tab and get back to what you were doing (“Command” + “Shift” + “T” on Macs).

3.  Access websites faster

Simply type the name of a website and press “Ctrl” + “Enter” to add www. and .com to a site name, and open it in the current tab (Pressing “Shift”+ “Ctrl” + “Enter” at the same time will open the website in a new tab).
