Choosing the right IT support partner is crucial for any business, especially as it grows and its needs become more complex. Drew Bilbe, Co-Founder & CEO of Nexba, shares his experience with Lanter Technologies and why they have become an integral part of Nexba’s operations. From their initial pitch to their ongoing support, Lanter Technologies has proven to be a reliable and proactive partner. In this article, Drew discusses the reasons behind choosing Lanter, the benefits of their services, and the positive impact on Nexba’s productivity and security.
Why did you choose Lanter Technologies?
We’re 13 years old and tried a couple of IT companies, but were at a size and needing someone more substantial and serious to support and secure our business. Microsoft recommended Lanter Technologies and we invited them to pitch. Lanter kept their presentation simple and to the point, unlike other IT companies who over complicate things. They easily articulate complex technology, presented well, were very approachable and along with the commercials, it all stacked up.
Why do you continue to choose Lanter?
They have done a good job and provide a really good service. Information technology is not core to our business so we need a provider to manage it for us, who we can trust and rely on. We’re very comfortable and happy with the Lanter team. If we have incidents they are resolved quickly and we appreciate Rob being at the forefront.
What are the benefits of working with Lanter Technologies?
Four standouts strengths of their skillset that positively impact our IT services include:
- Responsive to problem. They are very quick and on the front foot, always. They resolve problem well. Our people know Lanter are there and they get utilised. It’s comforting to know.
- Proactive, especially with cyber security. We get informed of suspicious activity 24/7 and know they are committed and always ‘on’.
- Dependable. They are dependable. It is that simple.
- Crisis management. They handle those situations very well and thoroughly.
You just want IT to be working and you don’t want it in the way of core business. You just want to know these guys are in control, have it covered, and I am confident Lanter can resolve the issue, it will be followed up, it will be resolved.
The upside of using Lanter is everything works and it is smooth.
What evidence do you have to demonstrate these benefits?
Lanter make sure everything IT is working and this relates to productivity, including onboarding new users. Prior to having Lanter on our team we spent more time on IT issues and that’s a distraction we cannot afford.
