Picture this, you’re working from home and a notification comes up for a teams meeting in 5 minutes, the house is a mess but you don’t have time to think about that right now.
While the commonly used blurred background offers a degree of privacy, upgrading to a professional, branded image can significantly elevate your virtual presence.
Imagine using a custom background featuring a meeting or office setting with your company’s logo, providing a polished and cohesive look that reinforces your brand identity, even when working from home.
How to customise your teams background:
First you’ll need to source an image that correlates with your brands identity. (We’ve used a simple image of a room with an armchair and added in the Lanter logo on the wall). Once you have your image ready, follow the steps below to customise your background.
- Before joining a teams meeting, click the arrow button next to the Camera icon.
- Select “More video effects and settings” (at the bottom).
- Click “Add New” and upload your custom image.
Note: In your small self-view window it will appear backwards, but on a call it will be correct.
